"김정일 넷째 부인 김옥 숙청..수용소로 보내져"
미국 자유아시아방송(RFA)은 복수의 대북소식통을 인용해 김옥의 숙청 가능성을 보도.
최근 평양을 다녀온 중국의 한 사업가는 RFA에 "김옥은 김정은이 집권하고 난 뒤 1년도 채 되지 않아 관리소(정치범 수용소)로 보내졌다는 말을 노동당 간부에게서 들었다"고 전했다.
이 사업가는 "김옥 혼자가 아니라 그녀의 친정 식구 모두 함께 관리소에 수용됐다고 들었다. 김옥 남동생(김균)의 안하무인격인 행동과 오만한 태도가 결정적 이유가 됐다고 한다"고 말했다.
김옥의 동생 김균은 2011년 2월 김일성종합대학 총장 직무를 대리하는 제1부총장으로 임명됐다가 2013년 10월 돌연 자리에서 물러난 바 있다.
김옥은 금성고등중학교와 평양음악무용대학에서 피아노를 전공하고 한때 왕재산 경음악단에서 피아니스트로 활동했다.
2008년에는 김정일의 딸을 낳은 것으로 알려졌으나 자녀가 있는지는 확인되지 않고 있다.
